Swim with Turtles Experience

Description

Enjoy a one-hour session swimming with sea turtles. These magnificent creatures, adapted to survive in the ocean, are an incredible sight. The giant green sea turtles can vary in length and weight, with their carapace measuring approximately 3 to 4 feet (1 to 1.2 meters).

These turtles have large heads and powerful jaws, which they use to feed on shellfish. Besides the turtles, you will also see a variety of marine life, including different species of tropical fish and corals.

Marine Ecosystem and Conservation

Sea turtles play a vital role in the marine ecosystems of Mauritius. Efforts are being made to protect their nesting sites and conserve their populations, ensuring these majestic creatures thrive for generations to come.

Safety and Equipment

All necessary equipment, including masks, snorkels, life jackets, and guidelines, will be provided by the skippers. They will ensure your safety and comfort throughout the experience.

• Not suitable for pregnant women, infant, heart patients and major surgeries.
• Swimmers and non-swimmers with no experience can do this activity.
• Participants must be physically capable to undertake the activity.
• Not suitable for participants above 80 years old unless they are extremely fit.
• It is recommended to lock your valuable belongings in your car.
• Secure your bookings in the peak season to avoid disappointments.
• Not recommended to consume alcoholic drinks before any activities.
