Scuba Diving Adventure in Mauritius

Morning

9:00 AM: Pick-Up from Your Hotel or Place of Stay

Your exciting day begins with a friendly pick-up from your accommodation by our local guide. After a delightful breakfast, head to the selected diving site.

Discover the Underwater World

Scuba diving is an exhilarating sport that allows you to explore the ocean's depths using specialized breathing equipment. Dive deep to witness the beauty of the ocean, interact with sea creatures, and marvel at the multi-colored marine life. The diving experience lasts for 2 hours, providing a lifetime opportunity to explore shipwrecks dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as recent artificial reefs.

Suitable for Beginners and Certified Divers

Both beginners and certified divers can enjoy a safe and enjoyable dive. Diving in the north of Mauritius is a hidden gem that exceeds expectations. Explore beautiful soft corals, schools of fish, exquisite coral reefs, and a wide array of marine life including reef sharks, turtles, and dolphins. Popular diving spots include Trou aux Biches, Grand Baie, and Mahebourg, with diving available all year round.

Training and Safety

You will train under an instructor who will provide lessons similar to a regular class. After the lessons, you will take a test to prove your knowledge. You will learn techniques, procedures, and safety drills for simple dives, as well as basic underwater hand gestures. Physical training includes practicing with scuba gear in a swimming pool or shallow waters. PADI training involves "mini dives" to build confidence before making four dives in open water.

Supervised and Safe Diving

Scuba diving in Mauritius is well supervised and adheres to high standards, making it safe for both beginners and certified divers. The island offers spectacular diving spots, from isolated shipwrecked beaches to exotic and magnificent coral reefs. Experience the underwater adventure at its best in Mauritius.

Diverse Marine Life

The waters around Mauritius boast over 430 marine species and 200 coral species, several of which are endemic to the island. A barrier reef encircles almost the entire island, creating a shallow lagoon reef ideal for beginner divers. Beyond the barrier reef, caverns and crevasses provide interesting underwater topography.

Return After the Dive

After the dive, return to your place of stay. Our driver will ensure you conclude your enriching and exciting day of exploration in Mauritius safely.
